Fellowship Church in Woodville, Texas

Stopped by Fellowship Church in Woodville, Texas today. A friend of mines son asked to get baptized after church so I was there as a friend and to take photos for them. We arrived early enough to experience the service and sermon by Pastor Chris. It certainly wasn’t your traditional service with suits and ties… The lights were off except for the stage, many folks wearing hats and casual dress. Pastor Chris talking away about life experiences and the Lord in an environment of comfort and comedy. He has a way of conveying the Lords message while keeping everyone interested and interactive. While he admittedly isn’t a scholar of seminary, you can feel the presence of God in his church. If you’re in the area you may drop by one Sunday and try the experience for yourself, comfortable chairs instead of wood pews was a major plus for me with my bad back that’s for sure!
