Why a garden program?

Leviticus 23:22

When you reap the harvest of your land, don’t reap the corners of your field, or gather the gleanings. Leave them for the poor and the foreigners. I am GOD, your God.

God intended some to be left so the less fortunate could work those corners and earn their food as to not be stuck begging or asking for a handout.

With our program we grow as much produce as possible and distribute it to as many people as possible in the community.

Starting in 2023 we initiated the Garden program. This is a program where we plant and maintain a garden and give away the produce from the garden. 2023 was such a success that we are planting a much larger garden in 2024. The plan is for this garden to cover nearly 2 acres. We require additional funding to make this happen!

How do we keep the program all inclusive? We collect no information on those that receive the produce.
There are no requirements, you show up on an announced distribution day and take what you want.
