Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to each and every person reading this! While we all have our traditions for Christmas, gifts, parties, and family we all share one universal truth. Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus the son of God who would later willingly give his life to allow for the forgiveness of our sins. We should celebrate accordingly. Remember to have your prayers before your Christmas meal even if you have a person or persons in your home that are non-believers, accommodating a guest should never exclude God. When posting on social media break the habit of saying XMAS. Yes for the lazy among us it makes typing faster but it takes Christ out of Christmas and while you may not intend it that way it does create a habit of exclusion. Its the little things that build to bigger things both negative and positive. For your Christmas meal below is a prayer suggestion you can use or make your own.

Dear Lord,
We thank you for blessing us with the freedom to have this gathering, for blessing us with so much wonderful food, and the wonderful friends and family we get to share it with. Most of all God with thank you for Jesus and his great sacrifice that grants us the forgiveness we all need. Lord, 2022 is coming to an end and we ask your bless the year 2023 in each of our lives bringing us new found strength of faith and never before experienced levels of prosperity and joy. We love you God and we know you love us. Amen!
